REVISED DATE -Visit to the National Centre for Motorsport Engineering now Monday 19th March


Wallasey Motor Club have been invited to visit the National Centre for Motorport Engineering (NCME)  based at the University of Bolton on the evening of Monday 19th March 2018.

Building on the success of the Universities Centre for Advanced Performance Engineering (CAPE), their brand new £13 million NCME development is designed to house the next step in the evolution of motor sport education in the UK.

The evening will be structured to allow club members to view these new state of the art engineering facilities including a wide selection of cars in various stages of development and preparation, including the Albatec partnered British Rallycross car to be driven this season by Mark Higgins as well as examples of the Berus Keating Supercar that is also based and developed at the University.

The club will also be undertaking a presentation to a number of students covering access to grass roots motorsport, including members motorsport disciplines, marshalling and other Club social activities,

The evening will commence from 7.30pm and light refreshments will also be provided.
